
Volvo decided to preview a new redesigned model of its popular SUV series, the XC90, which is set to come in an ultra-low CO2 diesel-electric hybrid model and is the first production car to be constructed from the company’s new scalable platform architecture. It’s expected to tackle on the powertrain of the V60 plug-in hybrid, offering 150mpg under a 2.4-litre D5 turbodiesel engine capable of powering up to 212bhp.
