They literally fired her before the second Twilight film began production, but its all good for director Catherine Hardwicke. Now she’s attached to direct the gothic retelling of Little Red Riding, titled The Girl With the Red Riding Hood. The werewolf tale will revolve around a teenage love triangle (how appropriate) and will be distributed by Leonardo Dicaprio’s production company Appian Way. Seems like we might have the this generation’s Tim Burton here.
