Just a week away from the Samsung Galaxy S6 reveal, looks like T-Mobile got the one-up on its competition by unveiling the first official look at the upcoming handset. The carrier promoted the announcement via CEO John Legere’s Twitter profile during the last night’s Oscars, which comes as a shocker considering the mobile manufacturer’s hard-edge approach to keeping all devices top secret till fully disclosed at its Unpacked events. Whether this was an exclusive announcement deal remains unknown at the moment.
In regards to the design showcased in the photo, the Galaxy S6 looks similar to the Note Edge—though recent reports suggest both sides of the screen will feature Samsung’s unique curve. The read will supposedly sport a dark gray metal that indicates a more premium look. No more faux leather covers? Hopefully so!
Expect to get a full glance of the Galaxy S6 at Mobile World Congress 2015 on March 1st.
