Could be, could be. Mark M. (devoted reader of LatinoReview) mentioned Ultimate Spider-Man creator and writer Brian Bendis was in talks with Sony about the new Spider-Man reboot. January 11th Bendis tweeted, “i work as a consultant on the marvel movies. this is a sony movie. i have no involvement. but maybe if you all scream loud enough :).” Yesterday he posted on his Twitter page, ” Just spent a very interesting morning at Sony with the entire spidey movie team!! Very very cool stuff!!” For those who aren’t familiar, Ultimate Spider-Man follows a 15-year old Peter Parker. It’s a more intriguing and modern twist to the Spider-Man storyline and if Sony goes this route, they’re moving in the right direction.
