Hideo Kojima promised the new Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain would be difficult to watch. Those who watched the visual shown during the Sony PlayStation E3 press conference might say different, as the preview provided to be the best produced preview of the show thus far—offering a deeper looking into the game’s fighting system, graphics presentation, and intense storyline.
It starts with a vulture circling around several bodies. Then we see Snake emerge with taking a container holding a soldier’s ashes, which he smears across his face. From there comes a series of different cut scenes featuring some brutal action sequences, with the end of the trailer showing Snake putting a bullet through an enemy’s head. We’re talking lots of stabbing and shooting here. Check out the trailer above.
Oh yea, Sony, nor Konami unveiled the game’s official release window, though we continue to speculate a Fall 2015 release.
