Samsung knows it has a winner with the Galaxy S6 Edge. In fact, it’s so confident in the device that the company’s already moving forward with its next curved flagship device, which is rumored to be the Galaxy S7 due out next year. According to a report from ETNews, Samsung Display has expanded its order to meet production on curved displays for the next Galaxy S model.
“The expansion is inevitable because it has been announced that Samsung Electronics have requested of 8 million flexible panels per month for ‘Galaxy S7,’” an anonymous company executive told the publication. The Galaxy 7 won’t be the only phone in Samsung’s upcoming lineup to get the curved treatment as talks of the Galaxy Note 5 tackling the cutting-edge design are also surfacing online. Doesn’t come as a surprise considering the previous-gen Galaxy Note releases.
The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are available for pre-order right now, so it’s on you deciding on what phone is more worth using your upgrade on.
