Motorola’s been riding a high ever since the re-launch of the Moto X and its latest smartwatch, the Moto 360. Now there is word the mobile staple is looking to build a Droid phablet that is similar to the Nexus 6, only with a much stronger spec sheet. DroidForums reports the handset could sport a 5.9-inch QHD display and carry the next-gen Snapdragon 810 processor under the hood.
The Droid phablet is rumored to take advantage of Android Lollipop’s 64-bit capabilities, boosting performance to its highest degree. There is also the possibility of the smartphone carrying 4GB of RAM and a 4,000 mAh battery inside. All signs indicate this Droid could launch sometime in mid-2015, though the report is nothing more than speculation at the moment.
