It’s pretty safe to say that Marvel’s cinematic universe has no end or character limit. The studio has been pretty good with keeping spoilers hush, but this latest Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer is giving away some secrets. The preview gives the first look at The Vision, and note, it’s pretty quick near the end, but most importantly, it was there.
Screenrant talked with writer/director Josh Whedon, who mentioned he wanted to introduce The Vision since beginning work on the first film. We don’t know much about him, though there are theories of his origins. It seems he could have been created by Ultron in the film (as he was in the comics), however, “marketing materials suggest that Bruce Banner and Tony Stark might be responsible for creating him, if not helping program him.” There could also be a possibility of seeing Vision in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War.
The Vision will be portrayed by Paul Bettany, the former voice of Ironman’s assistant J.A.R.V.I.S. With all these new comers to film the (The Visison, Wanda, and Pietro Maximoff -Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson), we can only anticipate what the final film will be like. See the Avengers: Age of Ultron May 1, 2015.
