Now that all the iPhone 6 hype is started to lose some steam, we’re all anticipating what Apple will announce heading into its October 21st event. A new report from the Daily Dot suggests the company will introduce the new iPad Air and iPad Air 2, along with a new version of the Mac OS. However, Chinese publication Commercial Times believes the next-gen iPad Air will be the only device to be shown at the event, with the iPad Mini successor being saved for early next year.
One of the more interesting scoops is the possible announcement of the iPad Pro—a slate rumored to feature a larger screen than the current models that would see a release Q2 2015. With sales dipping on its tablet business, Apple could use a major boost, and the release of three new devices in the category could certainly boost sales. As expected, Apple has yet to confirm or respond to the reports.
