As the world is transitioning to a more greener environment, the use of bamboo has doubled. It’s impossible to ignore all of its benefits, and is now being used in the construction of laptops, one of the world’s frequently used and purchased electronics. Instead of overused and non-environmentally friendly plastic, bamboo is acting as a replacement, being that its more biodegradable and easily grown, making it the perfect candidate. The Asos Eco Book, above, is one option, priced at $2000.

Dell is also attempting to change the atmosphere by offering the Studio Hybrid with bamboo case. It’s equipped with all of the same features as a regular PC, but the appeal lies in the fact that it’s 80% smaller and uses 70% less power.
