With HTC’s flagship handset, the One M8, losing out to the latest round of premium handsets in the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and iPhone 6, the company’s in need of another elite smartphone heading into the holidays. The thought of an M8 successor comes to mind, which rendering specialist Ashik Empro seems to agree with—assembling this gorgeous concept of what is being dubbed the HTC One M9.
The handset flaunts a brushed metal finish and comes stacked with a premium spec sheet. Internals include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, quad-core 2.5GHz chip, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 13MP Ultrapixel rear camera, 8MP shooter, and memory options of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. The camera supports image stabilization, 4K video capture and Full HD filming at 120 FPS.
On the front is a 5.2-inch Super LCD 3 display that generates 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution and has Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Still pretty, still powerful, the One M9 concept would make for a sweet upgrade in HTC’s collection of Android-enabled devices. Check out the video to see the full vision.
