If Sam Raimi can rally up a few chuckles from his “comedy-dark fantasy” offering, Army of Darkness, then the Wayans could run a laughing clinic just 90 minutes. No rib on the horror great, but dry, sarcastic humor can only go so far. Anti-heroes, mystique creatures, and some sorcery all thrown in the comedy cauldron, that’s what you call the perfect recipe for a fairy tale spoof.
