New info on the Halo: The Master Chief Collection has just been revealed, mainly regarding the Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer. Those who caught 343 Industries E3 presentation might remember the studio announcing these additions to the game:
– Modernizations
– Weapons
– Weapon Sets
– Lacked mid-range weapon choices
– Magnum tuning
– Vehicles
Now comes word that those weapon sets are not loadouts and refer to the placement of the items in the map. While a cool addition to the game, the major announcement for Anniversary is that 343 will include both the Halo 2 and Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer in the Master Chief Collection–allowing fans to choose between the original and remade maps.
There is also news of another vehicle, the Gungoose, being made available, which features SMG’s mounted on the front of it. The studio looks to be also adding a new Gungoose-only Capture the Flag Mode for the map Coagulation.
The Master Chief Collection hits the Xbox One on November 11.
