Blue, red, silver…and gold? Oh yes. HTC adds another color variant to its HTC One line, unveiling a new gold-finished version of its flagship smartphone due out in Finland on December 12th for the asking price of $845. The device offers the same spec sheet as the original model with a 4.7-inch, 1080p display, quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB of RAM, and 4MP “Ultrapixel” camera.
Gold seems to be the new trend with the iPhone 5S being the most popular option at the moment and Samsung following in its footsteps with a gold version of the GS4 available internationally. Whether we’ll see the gold HTC One in America has yet to be determined, though the company is offering two 24Kt gold-plated phones valued at $2,500 as giveaways for its Times Square special promotion.
