We first saw the Force Touch gestures on the Apple Watch, Retina MacBook, and a few MacBook Pro devices, and it is widely expected the iPhone 6S and 6S+ will both get the supporting technology. Bloomberg says they will, and a new report out of Taiwan seemingly confirms it by saying the components are already in mass production.
Force Touch displays are designed specifically for iOS users, increased pressure on the screen allow access to specific settings and options faster than ever before. Power users can rejoice.
It is worthy to note that Apple made no mention of Force Touch integration when unveiling iOS 9 in June, and with an expected tally of more than 200 million iPhones to be shipped this year, it would be a huge missed opportunity for the iPhone faithful.
