The Need For Speed franchise has been revered as the best video game racing series for over two decades. Granted it hit a few speed bumps with some of its later entries, EA and developer Criterion are looking to prove the naysayers wrong with the upcoming “remake” of its popular 2005 title, Need For Speed Most Wanted. Gamers familiar with Criterion’s resume (Burnout & 2010’s Hot Pursuit) know the NFS imprint is in good hands, but Sr. Product Manager Ryan Hunt says the developer is ready to push gameplay to the maximum speed, especially multiplayer.
