Think waiting on line during a midnight Madden launch at GameStop is crazy? Try competing against a hungry group of Maddenphiles looking to win the ultimate Madden fan prize. Sony, EA, and The Source Magazine invited a select few (via Twitter contest) to the Sony PlayStation Lounge in Midtown, New York on launch day to compete in a Madden 12 tournament: crowning the first-ever Madden PlayStation Lounge Champion.
Those in attendance witnessed some crazy comebacks, and some embarrassing blowouts, as gamers grappled their PS3 controllers and hit the virtual gridiron in hopes of winning an incredible free bag that consisted of a Madden 12 Hall of Fame Edition game (signed by HOF Marshall Faulk), crazy NFL memorabilia, and a sterling glass trophy with special engraving. Teddy AKA TNasty17 practically obliterated the competition and walked out with the coveted title by shutting down opponent Adrian: 39-0.
