In Conclusion…
What do I think of DmC? Whether you want to argue or not, the game is great. Cut scenes keep you wanting more. The storyline does a great job explaining Dante’s backstory. Combos remain my all-time favorite; impressed by the setups and mix up between Angel and Devil Mode. The rapid switching still allows players to chain moves and combos together, but it’s as accessible as it is deep, with an excellent ranking system that makes you want to outperform your own rating after every mission.
Ninja Theory made sure to keep the game interesting, as the collaboration between them and Capcom pays off. The developer gives us an action-packed reboot that lives up to the hype. Some might stick to their “I’m still not going to play the game” epigram, which is fine. Just remember you’re cheating yourself by not experiencing this amazing game.
