Dante
Yes I know most of you want white-haired Dante back, but I hope you know that Capcom wanted Dante to have a different, more “Hollywood” look. And when playing through the game, you’ll notice that just because his hair and cloths are different, the look they gave him is fitting. There are parts when Dante looks in the camera and gives that look of “I have a couple of screws lose.“ The devilish looks, cocky attitude, and a mouth that spits out profanities are sure turn your agitated frowns into smiles. Some of you don’t like it, but I think Dante has a sexy and more risqué persona that stays true to his troublemaker roots, which we’ve come to love over the past decade.
Difficulty Modes
DmC has four difficulty modes, each going from “ok this is making me sweat a little” to “I’m about to throw this 360 across the room.” Playing through all is a good way to refine your skills.
Son of Sparda: Remixed enemy layouts, plus tougher enemies and enemy behavior throughout. This will help you learn combos, also teach how to quickly switch between weapons for current enemies.
Dante Must Die: Same as above, but contains the strongest enemies and insane attack waves.
Heaven or Hell: Another remixed mode, but everyone and everything, including Dante, dies after one hit. Your best bet is to try and pull off as many air combos as possible!
Hell and Hell: The same as above, except Dante dies after one hit. This mode almost had me quit gaming, so I came to terms with taking a break and catching a breather. That’s how much it pissed me off.
