It’s been long awaited, and even considered cancelled at one point, but Crytek has finally revealed the new entry in the Homefront series. Formerly known as Homefront 2, The Revolution is set in a world where Korea has control of the USA and takes place four years after the events of the original game. Like its predecessor, the title will be an open-world FPS built around recruiting revolutionaries, building safehouses and bases, and even featuring a weapon customization system. Crytek promises a “dynamic, evolving world” that will respond to the actions of the players. Check out the visual above.
Homefront: The Revolution will arrive sometime in 2015 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully sooner than later.
