After axing production on its 8-series around 2007, the German automaker takes a few pages from its original concept and introduces the all-new BMW 6-Series Gran Coupé. The sleek luxury vehicle will be available in the UK next July and will offer three launch engine models, which will all be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The 640i entry-level vehicle will sport a turbocharged 3.0-litre that revs 316bhp and 332lb. ft. of torque, while the upper-level 650i runs on a 4.4-litre V8 pushing 444bhp. BMW also has plans of releasing an M6 Gran Coupé late next year, featuring a 552bhp, twin-turbo twin-turbo 4.4-litre V8. UK drivers have some hard decisions to make in 2012.
