Last week there was heavy talk of Rachel McAdams being secretly cast as Black Cat for the next Spider-Man 4. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actress says, “That’s a total rumor, I have to say. I was hanging out in Toronto the other day and someone came up to me and said, ‘I just heard you’re doing Spider-Man 4.‘ And I said, ‘Really? No one told me!’ It’s not true.”
UGO reports that Julia Stiles is met with the casting company in New York and could possibly take on the role. That’s a big downgrade! Sorry Jules!
In more interesting casting news, Spoiler TV received a casting call for Spider-Man 4 for a two-year old toddler with “red hair”; “IDENTICAL TWINS ONLY.” Some people are already predicting Peter Parker Jr., but we speculate a flashback scene that will introduce the fifth film’s predictable nemesis, Cletus “Carnage” Kasady.
