Sure, it’s not a full shot of the 2014 Chevy Impala, but the automaker has to build some hype for its full-size classic going into these next two weeks. The updated model is set to make its debut at the 2012 NY Auto Show, flaunting an all-new design with high-tech enhancements, while being built alongside the company’s latest Bolt and Malibu models.
The teaser image unveils the Impala’s C-Pillar and chrome design, with rumors indicating it will run on the same front-wheel drive platform as the 2013 Cadillac XTS. Interesting.
Chevy plans on manufacturing different fuel-efficient versions, with a projected release window of mid 2013. No worries, we’ll definitely get some exclusive shots once it rides into the Jacob Javits Center April 6th.
