The Maserati Kubang definitely stunned the many in attendance at the international Frankfurt Auto Show months back. Now the Italian luxury automaker plans on debuting its high-end sedan in North America at next month’s Detroit Auto Show. Reports from the Detroit Free Press confirmed the announcement, even after Maserati spokesman Jeffrey Ehoodin declined to name which of its luxury SUV concepts would be present at the domestic auto expo. The Maserati Kubang is rumored to go into production in 2013 and will be powered by “Maserati-designed engines” built by Ferrari. Sounds promising already. Expect more on the Kubang during Maserati’s press conference next month.
