While thinner than the MacBook Air, the Portege packs in a powerful 3rd-gen Intel processor, good battery life, and a number ports (USB, VGA, HDMI and Ethernet)–making it one of the lightest 13-inch ultrabooks outside of Japan. Add the reasonable price tag and you have a machine that fits the mold. And it comes chromed out, which is a nice touch. Just be sure to keep some wipes close by to detract fingerprints.
