Jurassic Park 4 has been trapped in development limbo for the past decade. Rumors of Steven Spielberg’s return to ridiculous storylines of human dinosaurs have made their rounds across the Internet, but no solid confirmations have ever been made regarding the fourquel. Actor Sam Neill, best known for his role as Doctor Alan Grant in the original and third films, just dropped an interesting tidbit though, stating he was informed the film would a “big reboot.” Oh really?

Producer Frank Marshall has gone on to say the follow-up will in fact be a sequel and not a reboot of the franchise. Jurassic Park 4 was tentatively scheduled to hit theaters next summer, which isn’t happening, unless Universal has miraculously managed to film it in secrecy on a remote island.

Another interesting report floating around involves actors Bryce Dallas Howard (Spider-Man 3, Terminator Salvation) and David Oyelowo (Rise of the Planet of the Apps) being courted for roles in the film. A remake only makes sense at this point.

Yahoo has been on an overhaul kick as of late since the beautiful Marisa Mayer took over as CEO. The $1 billion acquisition of Tumblr was just one of the intergal phases of Yahoo’s new and improved facelift, but the company hasn’t given up on its own photo-sharing site: Flickr. A new version of the service was shown off to the public on Monday with Mayer announcing all photos will be uploaded in full resolution: “When you upload [and] share your photos, you don’t lose any fidelity.”

The bigger announcement came in the form of expanded memory for all subscribers, 1TB of free storage to be exact. Storage whores looking for more can purchase an additional terabyte for $500 a year. Other notable upgrades to the service “include photo upload limits of 200 MB per photo, 1080p video upload limits of 1GB, and video playback of up to 3 minutes.”

In addition, Yahoo announced a new Android app to accompany the latest Flickr update.

Samsung’s been crucified over the design of the Galaxy S4, with the biggest complaint being the phone’s cheap plastic exterior. Looks like the Android kingpin might have a rugged version of its flagship product in the works. MobileTechReview just released an exclusive hands-on video with what is know as the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, flaunting a more durable back plate that is screwed in and reported to be both dust and waterproof.

But if you’re looking for a major upgrade in specs, expect to be disappointed. Reports have the Galaxy S4 Active boasting weaker hardware than the regular S4 in the form of a dual-core Qualcomm Sanpdragon CPU and 8MP rear camera. Not to mention all the capacitive touch buttons at the bottom of the screen have been swapped out for physical keys. Doesn’t sound so enticing anymore, right? Guess it depends on your mobile preference.

No official announcement has been made from Samsung, which means this could just be an unfinished prototype or possibly an international release. Until we get word from the company, it doesn’t hurt to take a look at the video breakdown below.

We’re nearly half a day away from Microsoft making its new Xbox console announcement and Sony’s managed to steal its competitor’s shine by putting out this new teaser video of the PS4 design, which it plans to unveil on June 10th at 6:00 PM PDT. That is one day before E3 2013 kicks off. Smart move.

The blurry preview was uploaded to the PlayStation YouTube channel, which you can view below. It’s extremely hard to tell what we’re looking at. Hopefully a game-changer and not another George Foreman grille. Zing!

[Updated] WB Games came through on its word and finally delivered the full trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins. Watch and you’ll notice a different voice coming from our favorite Batman villain The Joker, Troy Baker, who was also the voice of Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite. The lead will now be voiced played by Roger Craig Smith, whose resume includes voicing for characters like Ezio Auditore from Assassin’s Creed and Chris Redfield from Resident Evil.

The game will be released on October 25th for Wii U, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
